Join a growing team of drivers and monitors dedicated to safe, reliable student transportation across Delaware, Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan & Maryland.
GoKart Transportation drivers play a direct role in getting students to school safely — with the support of a dedicated dispatch and compliance team behind them.
Most routes run split-shift — morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up — around the school calendar.
Drivers are paid per completed route. Exact pay details are reviewed with you during the interview and vary by contract and route.
Every trip you drive helps a student get to school safely and on time.
A dedicated dispatch and compliance team backs every driver — not an app with no one on the other end.
Drivers are paid per completed route/trip; exact rates are discussed during your interview and vary by contract, state, and route. Most routes run split-shift, built around morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times to fit the school calendar.
Most routes use a minivan, sedan, or similar passenger vehicle in good mechanical condition. The vehicle must be model year 2016 or newer (within 10 years of the current year), with current registration, insurance, and a recent inspection. The vehicle must be registered in your name — if not, an approved driver letter from the owner is required. Some routes require a wheelchair-accessible vehicle — our team will let you know what a specific route requires.
Yes! Monitors are team members who ride along with students — keeping them calm and helping them with their needs during the ride. To apply as a monitor, complete our online monitor application.
All drivers must clear a state and FBI fingerprint-based background check and a DMV/driving record review, along with a drug screening. Depending on your state and contract, additional student-transportation training such as defensive driving, student management, and CPR/First Aid may also be required.
