Set Up Your Contractor Compliance Account

Activate Your Compliance Account

Contractor Compliance is where your driver file lives — your licence, insurance, screening results and vehicle paperwork. Setting it up takes about five minutes, and it all starts from one email.

Set up your account

  1. Find the email

Subject: “You Have Been Added to Gokart Transportation.” It comes from alert@mail.contractorcompliance.io — not from a GoKart address.

    Check your spam folder

Because it comes from the Contractor Compliance system rather than from us, it can land in Junk or Spam.

  2. Click “click here to create your password”

If the link doesn’t work, the email has a long code in a red dashed box at the bottom. Copy that code and paste it in when the page asks for a token.

  3. Create your password

    At least 10 characters, with a capital letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and one special character from ! @ # $ % ^ & *

  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions

    Don’t stop before this

This is the step people skip. Until you set a password, log in and accept the terms, you don’t appear on our system at all — you look like you never signed up, and we’ll keep chasing you.

  5. You’re in

You’ll land on your requirements with a compliance percentage at the top. Tap Incomplete to see only what still needs doing. A second email, “New Requirements Assigned,” lists your items.

Don’t let the invite go stale

An unaccepted invite expires after 60 days, and we can only resend one once every 7 days. If it lapses, your setup stops until a new invite goes out. Do it the day it arrives.

Uploading your documents

Tap View next to a requirement to work on it. What happens next depends on the type:

UploadAttach a document.
Upload + dateAttach a document and enter its expiry date.
FormType your answers on screen — there’s no file to attach. Driver Information and the A1 Disclosure are forms.
ReviewOpen it, read it, tap Acknowledge.
TestAnswer questions on screen.

To upload a file

Click Here to Upload File(s) → Select Files → choose your file → Submit.

If it asks for an expiry date

A field marked “Select the Expiration Date *” appears. Enter the date printed on the document itself — don’t estimate. Not every item has this field; if you don’t see it, that document doesn’t expire.

Check it actually landed

After you submit, a Submission entry appears on the requirement. If you don’t see one, the upload didn’t go through — do it again.

On your phone

There’s an app called Contractor Compliance on the App Store and Google Play. It lets you scan or photograph a document directly. Do your first activation from the email link, then use the app afterwards.

What happens after you submit

Your document goes to EverDriven, the broker — not to GoKart. It sits as pending until they approve or decline it. Nothing is instant.

If something is declined

Open the requirement in the portal and read the Notes — that line tells you exactly what to fix. A real example: “Vin and License Plate must match all supporting documents.”

Check the portal rather than waiting for an email. A declined item does not resolve itself.

Two things that aren’t your job

Items marked “EverDriven Action Required” can only be completed by the broker — you can’t upload against them.

Your vehicle documents (registration, inspection, insurance) attach to the vehicle record, not your personal list. If you can’t find them, that’s why — ask us.

Six things not to do

  • Don’t create your own account or sign up under a different email. The invite is tied to the address we sent it to. A second account leaves you showing as missing everything.
  • Don’t combine documents into one file. One document per upload. When several are scanned into a single PDF, everything after the first reads as missing — and the rest get filed under the wrong requirement.
  • Don’t upload a blank form or an instruction sheet. It doesn’t just fail — it makes the system think you already supplied the document, so the real gap becomes invisible.
  • Don’t guess an expiry date, and don’t upload an expired document. The date you type becomes part of a live compliance record. Read it off the document; if it’s expired, get a current one first.
  • Don’t text photos of documents to the office. Texted images aren’t filed automatically. Drivers have been chased for paperwork they’d already sent.
  • Don’t upload someone else’s document, or paperwork for a vehicle whose VIN and plate don’t match your other documents. That mismatch is the single most common reason things get declined.
